Reasons for poverty in Turkey after 1980: Problems and solutions

Poverty, continues to exist as a phenomenon not falling from the agenda of every country due to reasons, types and consequences of poverty. Poverty which has changed meaning and dimension after capitalism, has become an important issue in Turkey every time. Many things have changed in the post-1980 neo-liberal order. Poverty is also affected by this change by diversifying its causes and types. There are reasons for poverty such as income distribution disorder, unemployment, economic crises, migration, globalization, and subcontracting. In this study, the reasons of poverty in Turkey after 1980 were investigated with in the detection of the problem determination and solution proposal. In this study, I was used screening method. I tried to make inferences using both quantitative and qualitative data. One of the reasons for examining the post 1980 is that, it is almost impossible to reach the figures of the beginning of 1980.
