Turkey's wood processing machinery production industry present situation, problems and suggestions to their solutions

In this study, current production and technological structure of the Turkey woodworking machines manufacturing sector, economic status, contribution to the national economy, the problems encountered and solutions aimed to be presented. For this purpose, the research is carried out by covering woodworking machinery manufacturers in Turkey, the data obtained from face to face questionnaire with enterprises and data obtained the evaluation of relevant research and studies, various institutions, their reports and related web sites were utilized. For evaluation of data obtained from the research the following were considered; • Economic situation of the enterprise • The structural condition of the indoor and outdoor areas of enterprise, • The condition of staff relating to enterprise • Enterprise activity, • Production and technological structure, • Machinery and equipment (looms) status of the enterprise • Operating status of the tools and machinery of production and capacity, • Material consumption and material quality control, • Sales, marketing, capital availability situation of the enterprise • Contribution to the economy of the country, • Situation of enterprise relating to exports, • Warranty and service status of the enterprise • Research and Development activities • Business of the problems encountered in production, • What can be done for the development of the sector, The obtained data were evaluated and the results were presented about research conducted so far on the subject and some solutions have been proposed for the survival and growth of wood processing machinery manufacturers.
