Abstract (EN)
The administration system of Turkey since (1923) the declaration of independence to Second World War was based on a single party regime. With the forcement of internal and external in 1945, multi-party system was put in progress and in this period Democrat Party established. After 27 years dominance of Repuclican People's Party (CHP), Democrat Party (DP) came to power in 14 May 1950. In the first period of its power, it had gained tremendous success. However, from the the begining of second period, many problems occurred anda the country declined as economically and politically towards a crisis. Because of CHP's and some intelectual burocrats and press provacotion, Democrat Party had district pressure on oppostions. Some military officers in the Army provide the situation of the contry as an excuse and staged a coup. An interim rejime was designed with the abolishment of democracy and the management by the hands of National United Commity in the course of this era; Democrat Party was closed down, political activities cancelled and the administers of Democrat Party were put on trial and punished. During this period, a new constitution was prepared and after 1961 democracy was in the process. Till the 1965, the country was administered by coalition goverment. In the election of 1965, Justice Party came to power without any coalition partner. In this term, with the effect of 1968 young movement the violence and political crisis increased. To put an end to this kind of events, in 12 March 1971, military forces declared a memorandum and a new goverment was formed in the control of the soldiers. After 12th march 1971 coup.; the Soldiers did not rule directly. After this event, the problems did not vanished. MAny parties had been closed and some imprisonment occured. All in all, with the 1973 election, this term had come to the end. Key Words: Democracy, republic, coup, military rule, interim regime.
