Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the similarities by comparing the professional tourist guiding education system in Turkey with the tourist guiding education systems in Europe on the basis of curricula. For this purpose, data were obtained from virtual environments, databases, written sources and professional chambers for the tourist guidance education system from 28 countries in Europe. From these data, the criteria for the education system were determined and the comparison of the similarities and differences with the tourist guidance education system in Turkey was carried out. The obtained data were grouped and similarities were revealed. Although there is EU EN standardization that has been accepted and implemented in many countries in Europe, there is no accepted standard in education system practices and outputs.
