Abstract (EN)
Despite the close historical and cultural bond between the two countries, it is impossible to ignore the impact of energy on the close cooperation between these two countries. Turkey, Azerbaijan, and strategic perspectives overlapping like the East-West energy corridor and commercial interests of Western partners, are helping to close cooperation with Turkey's and Azerbaijan's energy policies. There is a strongly emphasized cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, based on the "One Nation, Two States" motto. These two countries are also closely connected by energy pipelines and cooperation in the field of the defense sector. Today, where energy is an essential factor in international relations, it is vital to investigate Turkey-Azerbaijan relations through the energy equation. As the central hypothesis of this thesis, the close cooperation between two countries on energy contributes to bringing the relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan to the current level. For this reason, the effect of energy on the relationship between the two countries is examined in the thesis.
