Abstract (EN)

Covid-19, which has affected the world, has disrupted the entire order by negatively affecting human life. Although attempts are made to protect against the epidemic by paying attention to hygiene rules and distance, the virus, which has a high level of contagiousness, has greatly increased its effect and increased the number of cases and deaths by the day. The increase in the number of cases in Turkey has also caused an increase in the number of deaths, and an attempt has been made to reduce the increase with state intervention. Healthcare and other industries use statistical process control to study variability and parse data in order to understand and intervene in the behavior of processes and systems. In this study, statistical process control charts have been created at the Turkish level between 2020-2022 for the number of Covid-19-related cases, the number of deaths and government intervention index values Dec. Shewhart control graphs were used to determine whether the process is under control by creating control boundaries with the average. The Ewma and Cusum control graphs were made by taking into account the small shifts and fluctuations in the process. The Shewhart control graph, Ewma and Cusum control graphs were compared in which processes were under control and whether they were under control. Values outside the upper control limit coincide with the winter months, while the outbreak outside the lower control limit coincides with the summer months, which means that there are fewer deaths or cases than expected. This means that the epidemic situation is managed with existing strategies during the summer, or the spread remains under control, or seasonally under control
