Abstract (EN)
In this thesis study where you can find subtitles as the art of opera at the Ottoman Empire, the art of opera and ballet in the Turkish Republic and its institutionalization, the establishment of State Opera and Ballet General Directorate; the organizational structure and management of the State Opera and Ballet General Directories serving in Turkey is analyzed and the organization's historical development of the institutionalization process in Turkey is discussed. As there is no source including all of the data regarding the organization structure, management and duties of the institution, catalog, magazine, poster, librettos of the works in the study, annual activity reports, performance programs organized by the State Opera and Ballet Directorate and the 1309 numbered Establishment Law are used during the preparation of this study. Answers to the questions regarding the management, services, organization structure and duties of the State Opera and Ballet General Directorate are sought by collecting all the data found, which the main aim of this study is. This study is valuable as a source for researches who will research this field and valuable for the introduction of the management of this organization.
