Abstract (EN)

With the development of internet technology, digital media has become the dominant mass media of today. One-sided communication design, which is owned by traditional media, is replaced by the design model of the receiver. In this new communication design that masses can reach much more easily; the fact that the flow of messages is fast and practical, and that it is a developing structure, has significantly shortened the time of integrating digital media into mass media. By including the entertaining function of the media in this integration, digital media platforms that produce content have been created. Television, which is the most powerful mass media of traditional media, brings the Turkish television series to the screen in order to perform the amusing function of the media. While the digital media possesses content-producing platforms, it aims to present the diversity of content that the television cannot give in order to regain this lost audience. Television, which is the most powerful tool in traditional media, loses power in the face of the digital media it cannot resist and it also gives an important test against the platforms that produce its own original content. The television cannot go beyond the patterns it has against the sequences in these digital media platforms produced as an alternative to the television series, which catches the biggest viewing rates. Digital media platforms to capture the audience monitors that broadcast in Turkey, trying to keep their own media, the produced original content is always going to be better aware of evolving requirements. It is very important that the digital media platforms that produce the content of the series are traced to the audience in order to continue. The digital media platforms have to do a good analysis of the mass profile. In the study, which examined the attitude of the Turkish audience and the attitude towards the platforms and the attitude towards the subscription system, in-depth interviews with the leading names of the sector, important events that marked the digital age were discussed. Key Words: Digital Media Platforms, Social/New Media, Traditional Media, Series, Audience
