Abstract (EN)
In this study, stuttering self-efficacy levels of speech and language therapists in Turkey were examined. Within the scope of this review, the research was carried out with a descriptive model, one of the quantitative research methods. In order to collect data in the research, the 'Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Speech and Language Therapists' was developed. The questionnaire consists of 25 items in 4 subsections: general information, service provision, evaluation and intervention. Data were collected from 195 DKTs by means of a questionnaire. Statistical analyzes of the obtained data were performed using SPSS v25. Pearson Correlation Analysis, Independent Samples T-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were used in the analysis of the data. When the findings obtained from the research are evaluated, it is determined that the stuttering self-efficacy levels of DKTs in Turkey are determined by age, gender, graduation degree, the level of education they received the DKT title, the length of time they worked in the profession, the position of participation in a course/course/seminar on stuttering after graduation. It has been revealed that the students vary according to their ability to see the courses related to fluency disorders during their education, their clinical practice with individuals with stuttering during their university education, and the current number of weekly stuttering sessions. As a result, it was seen that the self-efficacy levels of the participants regarding stuttering were affected by individual factors. Keywords: Speech and language therapist, Stuttering, Self efficacy.
