Abstract (EN)
In this study, Speech and Language Therapists (SLP) in Turkey were examinated for levels of Self-Efficacy in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Within the scope of this review; the research was conducted with descriptive model, one of the quantitive research metods. To collect data, it was developped an questionnaire aimed to measure Speech and Language Therapist's Self-Efficacy for Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was processed from 202 SLP via the questionnaire, consisting of 16 items in 3sub-section as questionnaire, service provision, assessment and intervention. The informations gathered from the questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS 24. The datas were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Chi-Square Test. When the findings obtained from the study were evaluated,in Turkey, SLPs selfefficacy for ASD was determined as the highest level in referring suspected cases to relevant experts in the sub-section of providing service, in evaulating verbal communication skills in the subsection of evaulation and in cooperating with the family in the sub-section of intervention. The findigs show that self-efficacy levels of SPL's in Turkey for CLP varies according to level of education, experience, work environment, clinical practice during their university education, participation in any training/ seminar/conference related to CLP after graduation and case load.
