Abstract (EN)

Turkey's failure to close the socio-economic disparities between provinces and regions, balanced and sustainable development policies should be implemented. In determining the differences between provinces and regions, socio-economic indicators which can reflect the present conditions need to be investigated with various statistical techniques. These surveys are very important in current projects for government policies and planners, in new projects to be implemented prospectively and in very the distribution of resources. In this context, Turkey's socio-economic status of the designated economic, social and cultural indicators that can be accessed through an annual data until year 2017, has been evaluated in 81 provinces. The developmental indices of the illiterates were determined by using the principal component analysis, the classification of the illiterates by the index values determined by the fuzzy clustering analysis, and the similarities of the illusions by the multidimensional scaling analysis were examined.
