Abstract (EN)
Popular series, which continue to increase in Turkey in recent years, affect especially children who enter adolescence in different ways. One of these effects is about children's religious (moral) education and trends. Tests on some of the popular series, which are watched for this purpose, were carried out in terms of Islam. It is determined that how the unfit religious attitudes and behaviors are reflected to the viewer. A survey about children's television watching habits was conducted among secondary school students to determine the effects of TV series on secondary school students by means of the analys is carried out on the survey. At the end, some advises have been given to the relevant institutions and producers to eliminate the negative impact of the series and to make them beneficial in terms of religious education.
