A completion continues at the foreground in International and domestic trade. In this case, companies do cost calculation constantly, and to reduce costs they do always calculations. The main item of cost calculations of the companies is logistic activities. Nowadays, many companies have to endure much more cost due to not planning their logistic process efficiently. Since, it is of great importance that logistic education and specialization is included to system efficiently.Companies have started to desire to have the brain power from the expert people in this field. In our universities, there are demand side requests to train people to be specialized in logistic field. That logistic education is a need any more is inevitable and cannot be postponed. In our country, it is followed academically because logistic education moves to a point which is very crucial rapidly and aimed to contribute to the process with different approaches. Major universities which have support and education are School of Transportation and Logistic at Istanbul University, Istanbul Commerce University, Yeditepe University, Istanbul Aydın University, Okan University and Çağ University which have Logistic Department. Also, there is a Bachelor Degree program called Logistic Management in Izmir University of Economy, this number is increasing day by day.Turkey is considered as the most appropriate region as central of logistic by the authorities and countries in the World because Turkey is a bridge and switching center between Europe, Turkish Republics, and Middle East. To live in the harmony with the World, the decreasing of the economic limitations, creating value of economic activities in world market make that the companies implement business plans by defining new strategies necessary. This case reveals that expert staffs to be educated in our universities develop which logistic activity and train the staff in which level of proficiency. Also, Deeping of logistic education by regenerating dynamically is needed. Hence, the number of scientific works and publications which shed to logistic sector is important. Logistic activities differ according to the their fields. We can list as food, automotive, industrial products, nuclear products, construction, etc., It must be expertise on all these sectors according to their scope. In food sector, while logistic activity happens, important details like products position and storage time is performed with the information which is consolidated by expertisement. That the first and most important phase of expertisement is education should not be forgotten. When logistic department is founded at a university, the lecturers and the books which are read should be sufficient. However, the case does not show it and there are not sufficient books and lecturers. The most suitable lecturer must be chosen according to the subject of the course. For instance, that an instructor who is an expert on air transportation give lecture on land transport is not effective. Sufficient resources and specialized staff are very important in terms of quality of education. This Study refers to the subject, content and expertise fields in the scope of logistic and supply chain. Moreover, infrastructure of logistic education and current application in the World and our country is handled. As a result, suggestions to overcome the shortcomings in logistic education and the future steps to be taken in terms of alignment are developed.
