Abstract (EN)
The four-year undergraduate program of the Industrial Design (ID) departments of the universities ends up by the graduation project carried out in the last year. The common purpose of the graduation project carried out with different systems is that the students can perform product design and presentation which is sufficient for reveal all the knowledge and skills expected to be gained in previous periods. The literature surveys show that there is only four studies about the graduation project system (GPS) of ID as part of the Middle East Technical University; in subsequent years there is no study about the GPS in Turkey. The main motivation and the reason for making this work is the absence of academic studies for GPS and the space in these field around the Turkey. The aim of this thesis studies is making the system implemented within the school year in 2017/2018 at the universities in Turkey which provides training for design education at the undergraduate level. For this purpose, interviews have made with the universities within this research about how they carried out the systems of graduation project, after making a pre-questionnaire. In accordance with the reached datas and data analysis, the advantages of differences and similarity of the systems and the features needed improve of the systems are discussed and suggestions are presented.
