A research on classification and determining the effectiveness of banks operating in Turkey

With this study it is aimed; to determine the effectiveness of the banks operating in Turkey in relevance with each other within the context of selected criteria, to find out the advantages of different linear classification approaches and the ratios of false classifications, to show how important the selection of input-output process is. Furthermore, in this study, a new analysis model of DEA-DA, which comprises Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Discriminant Analysis (DA) under a single context and a new classification model which based on Multiple Criteria DEA (MCDEA-DA) are used.
