The importance of financial institutions on the development of capital market in Turkey

This research, which is about financial institutions and their functions in capital market for Turkey and the world, mainly consists of three parts. In the first part; emergence, definition and basic functions of financial institutions and also these institutions' functions in capital markets for Turkey have been examined with a general evaluation. In the second part; financial institutions which are basic elements of the financial sector, have been studied extensively in a functional approach and evaluated systematically. Finally, in the third part; the functions of the financial institutions in capital markets in our country have been examined and the effects of the new formation, which has been come up with legal regulations on the Turkish Capital Market, have been analysed in a systematic way.
