Determining the needs for applying Homeopathy in Turkey.

Homeopathy is a holistic approach (physical, emotional and mental) medicinal system, derived from two words, 'homeos / similar' and 'pathos / illness'. Homeopathic remedies are being increasingly used in European countries, as well as in Asian, North and South America countries. Homeopathy is a well-recognised medicine in developed countries worldwide. Recently, a new regulation signed by Turkish government, on the date of 05.17.2012, the Turkish Parliament signed the #6308 law, allows Homeopathic remedies and products can be sold in pharmacies . Homeopathic Educational Standards are accepted by Ministry of Health with the approval number #844 on the date of 10/02/2015. Inspite of these positive improvements homeopathy is not used in Turkish Health System yet. Homeopathy regulations and applications in European and other countries in the world are examined and the associations which are working on homeopathy are listed. The road map is presented in order to apply homeopathy in Turkey.
