Abstract (EN)
With increasing uncertainty and instability around the world, how to increase the resiliance of the urban economy has become one of the main issues of urban economic development. In this study, it is aimed to meusere the relationship between agglomeration economies and regional eceonomic resilience at the level of 26 sub-regions between 2014 and 2021, according to Level-2 of the statistical regional units classification of the Turkish Manufactoring Industry (NUTS). Within the scope of the study, location coefficients were calculated on the basis of sub-regions to represent resilence in the manufacturing industry, and System GMM, one of the panel data analysis methods, was used to examine the relationship between agglomeration and regilation eceonomic resilience. As a result of the study, it was seen that immigration, primary education, level in aducation, Gross Value Added(GVA) and location coefficient had a positive and significant relationship, while the given immigration and higger edugation level had a negative and significant. The most definng feature of agglomeration economics is that a one-unit increase in expertise increases the position coefficient by 7.51. It has been determined that agglomeration and regional economic resilience increase the employment concerntration of the manufacturing industry.
