Abstract (EN)
The unemployment has become an increasing global problem in the Turkey and world. There are many structural factors causing unemployment in Turkey such as rapid population growth, low labor force participation and education level of the labor with the structure of agriculture based employment,disproportiones between women and men,regional unemployment differences. The unemployment affects the welfare level of people both economically and socially in the Turkey and all around the world. In this study, in order to determine the causes, extents and results of the unemployment in general and to offer solutions for unemployment, it has made necessary examinations by first including employment policies in Turkey. The causes, extents and results of unemployment in the world are also mentioned. The aim of the study is to view the unemployment in Turkey between 2005-2019 and to determine the aspects and the result of the unemployment furthermore to find solutions in order to prevent and decline it.
