Abstract (EN)
One of the important criteria of the level of development of an country is also related to the status of women in the wage labor market. Along with the globalization phenomenon in the 21st century, significant changes and transformations have also occurred in the working life. The service sector is at the forefront of the work areas where women are becoming more visible, especially in the labor market. On the other hand, it is known that women workers who have resigned their lives in rural areas especially offer their labor as unpaid family workers in agriculture. In urban areas, women with low levels of skills / skills are employed mainly in non-high-quality jobs. As a matter of fact, every field is found and needed. At this point, women who are involved in the wage-labor market can face many unfavorable circumstances. In particular, the sex-based division of labor, which is shaped around the generally accepted perceptions in the society, attracts women to the back of men in the field of work. In this case, employed women do not receive equal pay for equal work, which means that the principle of fair pay is ignored. In addition, because women's labor is seen as cheap, women are exposed to discrimination in their work areas and are employed in low-status jobs. On the other hand, women fulfill their duties in the household as well as they are crushed under heavy workload due to the work to be carried out in the labor market. The international and national regulations designed to address the problems women face in their field of work are primarily about the effective implementation of gender equality. In addition, documents, publications, directives, and contracts created by international and national institutions are important for raising the employment rate of women and for solving their problems. International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women and, in the case of the national scene, the Directorate General on the Status of Women is a pioneer in the protection of women. The regimes that have been implemented seem to be positive for women in the wage labor market. Because women's involvement in employment is important both for women and for the sustainable development of countries.
