Nowadays, women's employment has an important role in raising the welfare and supporting the development level of the country. Until today, women have been engaged in production activities in different statuses and forms according to the conditions they are in. The changing social structure with the industrial revolution enabled women to participate in working life in the World and in Turkey. In our country, especially with the proclamation of the Republic, women have taken a greater role and participated in almost every field of society. However, there are many factors that affect women's participation in the workforce. These are education level, age, marital status, fertility rate and economic conditions. In this study, the effect of two important factors which are, fertility rate and education level of women in the workforce were examined. Key Words: women labor force participation rate, fertility rate, education level, unemployment and econometric analysis.
