Özet (EN)
The Covid-19 epidemic, which influenced the whole world in early 2020, once again proved the importance of health expenditures both on a national and global basis. In this study, the efficiency of regional distribution of medical imaging devices, which has an importance in health expenditures, is examined. In the study, according to Nomenclature of Territorial Units Classification Level 1, 12 regions' data are used. Interregional comparison is made in terms of the number of medical imaging devices and imaging. According to the total number of medical imaging devices per 1.000.000 people, the most medical imaging devices are in Istanbul and the least medical imaging devices are in the Middle East Anatolia Region. According to the number of imaging per 1.000 examinations, the highest number is in Istanbul and the least number is in Eastern Black Sea Region. The findings show that there are different inequalities in the regional distribution of medical imaging devices and imaging numbers by sector.
