Abstract (EN)
The crisis in Turkey had played an active role in terms of the country's economy. In the framework of the economic policies implemented in the country after the deteriorating economy, the banking sector was forced to intervene frequently. Many banks have gone bankrupt, changed hands, incorporated or customized as a result of these interventions. After the 2001 crisis, which was considered a turning point for the banking sector, an important step had been taken to put the banking sector with a fragile structure on a more robust basis by The Restructuring Process of the banking sector. In this study, it was aimed to show whether the Bank's performance is better or not by incorporating public-owned banks and private-owned banks into the banks that were transferred to SDIF after the restructuring process of the banking sector. In this study, public-owned banks and private-owned banks, which were determined by using liquidity, income-expense and profitability ratios, were examined in two periods provided that they were mainly operating ratios. Operational performance analysis was carried out by applying Grey relational analysis method to banks allocated for 2002-2009 and 2010-2017 periods. This analysis aimed to achieve the best results by measuring the performance of the banks transferred to SDIF through the restructuring process effects based on their activity areas in the two periods and by managing their funds by SDIF. In this study, the performance of public capital banks and private capital banks was measured. As a result of transfer to SDIF by measuring the activity performance of Grey relational analysis, it has been proven that the structuring process is evaluated in the best way, as well as public-owned banks became effective at a significant level in the banking sector by making a major attack. It is believed that the Grey relational analysis method is a successful method for measuring the performance of banks Key words: Bank, Activity Performance, Banking Sector, Restructuring Program, Grey Relational Analysis Method.
