Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the relationship between Turkey's foreign trade with BSEC countries and the dollar index was investigated. Two models were created with monthly data between 2002 and 2023. After these models were tested with the Granger causality test, the impulse response graphs were examined in detail. According to the Granger causality test results, no relationship was found between Turkey's exports to Albania and the dollar index. However, the causality relationship has been determined for other countries. While there is no causality between Turkey's imports from Azerbaijan and Georgia and the dollar index, there is a causality relationship in other countries. In the impulse-response graphs, the responses of Turkey's foreign trade with BSEC countries and the dollar index were found to be significant in some countries, while insignificant in others. The response of Turkey's foreign trade with the BSEC and the dollar index varied from country to country, giving both positive and negative responses.
