The main problems faced by smes in the Turkey and an application to SMEs in Karadeniz Ereğli

The SMEs that hold the dynamism of economy not only in our country but also in the world, are aiming to make new investments, raise their domestic sales and make export by coming on the overseas market, to enlarge in profitability and make their activities fruitfully. However, the SMEs are having problems that prevent them from enlarging and growing which are because of their own structure or because of outside sources and they are unable to solve their problems. Because of these reasons, it is very important to determine the problems that the SMEs have while trying to fulfill their purpose of making their activities fruitfully and find solutions to these problems.In the work, the main problems of the SMEs, which are critically important and the central pillar of the economy in the world and in our country, and how they are effected by these problems are aimed to be determined.In the research, face to face questionnaire is made by 50 SMEs by the help of the samples that are taken from Karadeniz Ereğli Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The questions of the questionnaire are prepared by using 5 likert gage. The result of the questionnaire is tried to be interpreted by analyzing them using statistical methods.
