Transforming and changing cities in Turkey during the process of globalisation

Urban areas are places that providing living area to many people, various cultes, occupations. They contain heterogen groups of people. Globalisation, the most discussed topics in world, is referring to earth?s physical shape and promoting homogenity. As in all process of social changes before, urban areas are changing theirselves in globalisation process. Globalisation choose urban areas as a target area while occuring. Change in urban areas during globalisation is research subject of the thesis. Change in urban areas and urban dwellers in Turkey is observed in the study.
