Abstract (EN)
Developments in technology in the world brought changes and different habits in human life. With the spread of the ınternet all over the world, companies have moved their activities to electronic environment. The opportunities offered by rapidly developing virtual stores attract many consumers. Consumers had the opportunity to access all the virtual stores around the world quickly and easily without leaving their homes. Online stores are becoming widespread in our country as well as all over the world. In this study, the benefits of shopping online, will focus on the risks and how to proceed in Turkey. The analysis was made using the sequential probit model with the data obtained from the survey study conducted throughout Turkey using TUIK data.
