Contributions to determination of lichen biota of Turkey

Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was contribute to lichen biota of Turkey and make additions to database which is intended for writing preparations of lichen biota of Turkey. The samples were collected between the dates of 03.06.2008-09.09.2009 and in addition to these samples previously collected samples which are stored in the herbarium at Anadolu University in the Department of Biology (ANES) were also investigated. The numbers of lichen and lichenicolus fungi was determined. Lichen records have reached 175 lichen forming and 13 lichenicolous fungi which was collected from 68 localities in Turkey. 1 lichen forming fungi, Phaeophyscia hirsuta (Mereschk.) Essl., is new record for Turkey. Fuscopannaria ignobilis (Anzi) P.M. Jørg., Nesolechia oxyspora var. fusca Triebel & Rambold, Pannaria rubiginosa (Thunb.) Delise, Parmotrema austrosinense (Zahlbr.) Hale are detected for second time; Acarospora hilaris (Dufour) Arnold, Arthonia hertelii (Calat., Barreno & V.J. Rico) Hafellner & V. John, Dacampia cladoniicola Halici, A.O. Türk & Candan, Dermatocarpon vellereum Zschacke and Parmotrema arnoldii (Du Rietz) Hale are detected for third time from Turkey. Descriptions of these taxa and the ecological features of study area also given.
