Abstract (EN)
The main objective of the study is to examine the medical tourism industry which is developing in the world and Turkey. In this context, the study aims to compare Turkey with selected leader countries by taking indicators of medical tourism into account. As a result of comparison and literature review, the study suggest that Turkey's weaknesses and strengths in medical tourism industry and approach opportunities and threats against to Turkey. Consequently Turkey medical tourism industry, which is analyzed in detail in the study, is gradually evolved with the implemented neoliberal policies in the stated period and contribute to Turkey's economy.
