Abstract (EN)

In establishing years of the Republic of Turkey, because of being in acute economic situation in country entirely and, of dominated keynesian economic-politics that arisen after the world economic crisis in 1929, the state was compelled to play an effective role in economic life. Efectiveness of the state on economy and its share has been increasingly continued until 1970's. However, oil crisis that arisen in the very beginning of 1970 generated an unbearable challenges in economy, thus withdrawing of the state from economic life has been on the top of agenda. When the " new right" policy came to power in the USA and in the West Europe in the beginning of 1980's, privatization has been official policy for most of governments. The cabinets of Thatcher from Great Britain and, of Reagan from the USA have been a model by their effective implementations in privatization policy. Following the Decisions of Economic Stability in January Of 24th, 1980 that brought about implementation of liberal economic policy, privatization policies has also been on the agenda in our country. And in the world, not only in former The East Block Countries and the USSR which once had central planning economy and presently being faced on liberal market economy, but also in various countries, implementing of privatization policies has been accelerating. At this study, of privatization of TUPRAS, as a pioneer company which is one of the implementations under umbrella of privatization in Turkey, has been chosen as a sample in order for examining. II
