The development of political science in Turkey and Prof.Dr. Tarik Zafer Tunaya as a Turk political scientist

In this thesis, the development of political science in our country and the career biography ofof valuable scientist Prof. Dr. Tar k Zafer TUNAYA is investigated. The development process ofpolitical science in our country and the biography of valuable scientist and his contributions to thedevelopment process by his works is tried to state. And also suggestions are developed about howbetter political scince can be developed, presented and explained to our country. The importance ofProf. Dr. Tar k Zafer TUNAYA, one of the scientist attended in political science, is stated byestablishing his studies and researches.The research has four sections. In first section; the subject, aim, hypothesis, methodology,universe and sampling of reseach and definitions of important concepts in political science is stated.At the second section; the concept of political science and related literature, the developmentlevel of Turkish political science, the deveopment level of political science reviews in Turkey isdetermined and also the studies of establishing scientific research works in political science andpolitical scientists and writers are exemplified.In the third section; the biography of Prof. Dr. Tar k Zafer TUNAYA is discussed. Hisscientific research works, practises and his area of specialization is determined.
