Abstract (EN)

The "migration" of international immigrants has become one of the most important issues of today. The majority of international immigrants are individuals who migrate for work, family, education or economic reasons. However, there are a significant number of people who leave their homes and countries and migrate to other regions and countries for various compelling reasons such as conflict, war, genocide and human rights violations. It would not be wrong to say that Jordan has been an immigrant center for a long time because many immigrants have taken refuge in Jordanian lands throughout history. Due to its geographical location, Jordan has faced an influx of immigrants since the day it declared independence. The same ideas apply to Türkiye. The Syrian crisis, which is considered a refugee crisis, caused a large part of the region's population to migrate to Turkey and the rest to Jordan. At the beginning of the crisis, the Jordanian Government pursued a policy that gave Syrian free access to the country's health and education systems. Turkey, on the other hand, has taken care of Syrian immigrants who escaped from war and needed all basic needs (shelter, nutrition, health, education, etc.) since the day they arrived and tried to meet their needs. Turkey's planned policies towards Syrian immigrants and the practices aimed at implementing them have been appreciated by all countries. This study examines the differences and similarities between Turkey and Jordan's foreign support problems, employment, education and health policies for Syrians within the scope of the Hatay province example. The findings were compared by seeking an answer to the question. In other words, the purpose of this research, which consists of five chapters, is to examine and comparatively analyze the employment, education and health policies for Syrian immigrants in Turkey and Jordan, in the example of Hatay province. As a result, Turkey and Jordan have followed health, education and employment policies for Syrian, sometimes similar and sometimes covering only their own borders. This study was structured using literature review, text/document review and interview techniques.
