Abstract (EN)
Sport is all of the physical or mental activities performed individually or as a team according to pre-determined rules, usually competitive competition and personal entertainment or achieving excellence. In this context, in our thesis, the history of sports, the transformations it has undergone from the past to the present, the place of sports in the print media, its distinction according to sports branches, and the news about sports economy are discussed under the leadership of Sabah Newspaper. In line with the data we have obtained in the research part of our thesis, it is seen that the division of the 3 bigs (Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe) and sports economy news according to sports branches has a wide area in the news about the sports economy.
