The metanomies and metaphores in turkomen proverbs

Our proverbs are important cultural elements related to both semantics, as they express the whole experience of life in one sentence, and folk literature as they form the source of them.This study consists of `the concept of proverb?,its features, its role in Turkish and Turkomen literature, what the metaphors and metanomy concepts are, the usages of Turkish and Turkomen proverbs and the copy of the text.In the `Introduction Part?,we dealt with the relationship between language-culture-proverb and society.In the first section?Proverbs and Their Place in Turkish and Turkomen Literature? we wrote about what the proveb is, its characteristics and the role of the proverbs in our literature. We ended this section with the Turkomen language, literature and proverbs.In the second section `Citations?,we gave information about metaphor and metanomy, we mentioned different point of views related to these citations, and we wrote about the usage of citations in proverbs.In the third section `Going Over?,we went into the usage of citations in Turkomen proverbs.Our study ended with the conclusion, bibliography and the copy of the text.Before that there were no enough examples on this subject; soby considering the proverbs which are one of the most important cultural values of Turkish and Turkomen people. we aimed to have an important resource for semantics, and help people, who have been studying in this field.
