Determination of the distribution status and biomass of the sage of salvage (Salvia tomentosa L.) in Turkmen district region of Kütahya of Turkmen Mountain

Prof. Suleyman TOPAL SUMMARY In this study, it was aimed to determine the distribution status and biomass of sage (Salvia tomentosa L.) species spreading around the Turkmen Chief of the Kütahya Turkmen Mountain. Accordingly, during the vegetation year 2016, random sampling areas were selected from the mentioned region and the number of individuals in each sampling area and the necessary information for biomass analysis were obtained by weighing them. A total of 52 sample areas have been identified in these field studies and the coordinates, elevation views and slopes of these sample areas have been determined and this information has been noted in the sampling area report cards. As a result of these samples, it has been provided to record the sage species in which region of the region we are working in and the biomass analysis of this species. Thanks to the results of this research, it will be possible to compare the distribution of sage plant and the biomass density in the region in the following years with the same studies.
