Abstract (EN)

While manufacturing the spur gear wheels, it is important to consider how it will suffer from the load, its work environment, what material to use, which type of manufacturing selected, engineering calculations and analysis. Nowadays, in the production of gears, mostly metal cutting andinjection molding method to the specific mold are used. As many sophisticated materials are produced with 3D printers used in today's technology, gears wheel can be produced with this method with a precision of 0.01 mm. In this thesis, general information on classification of gear wheels, general gear law, spur gear wheel calculations and plastics will be given and damage mechanisms in plastic spur gears and especially 3D printers will be explained. In this thesis, closed system power transmission test device will be manufactured and gear wheels designed and sized in computer environment will be manufactured with 3D printers. Weighing devicewith the 10-4 gram precision for the abrasion rates in the gears manufactured before and after the each test phase will be used and surface measuring device will be used to measure the wear depth in gears. Abrasion values on gear wheels working with each other under different loads and cycles will be compared with tables and graphs. Suitable working conditions of gears produced in 3D printer will be specified and so the production of complex structured materials can be made more precisely and quickly.
