Özet (EN)
Non-destructive testing methods are examined under 5 different headings. These non-destructive testing methods occupy an important place in maintenance and repair activities. Especially in the aviation sector, they enable vehicles to fly safely and reduce maintenance and repair costs. Additive manufacturing technology is one of the important production techniques that are becoming increasingly widespread. Aerospace components produced with additive manufacturing work in harmony with non-destructive testing methods and non-destructive testing methods optimize maintenance and repair activities. The importance of non-destructive testing methods in aircraft maintenance and repair activities is increasing day by day. In this thesis study, artificial holes were created on two different aluminum panels, which are 7050 T7451 and 6061 T651 alloys, and examined using liquid penetrant, ultrasonic testing, and eddy current methods. The differences between non-destructive testing methods were applied to aviation maintenance parts. The use of non-destructive testing techniques in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) processes increases operational efficiency, quality, safety and reduces costs. With rapidly developing technology, NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) techniques are also evolving and becoming an integral part of MRO processes.
