Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of employees' wage justice perceptions on counterproductive work behaviors exhibited and if organizational cynicism exists as a mediating role in this effect. The study consists of theoretical and practical parts. All the variables of the research were explained in the theoretical part, and then analysis and findings were presented in the practical part. The data collection method in the study is survey. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 program. The sample of the study consists of 252 white-collar employees who work at various private companies in Istanbul. The hypotheses were tested using Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, T-tests, one-way analysis of variance, Mann-Whitney U tests and Kruskal-Wallis H analysis. As a result, it has been found that wage justice has a negative effect on organizational cynicism. Organizational cynicism has also positive effect on counterproductive work behaviors. However, wage justice has no significant effect on counterproductive work behaviors. Since there is no such an effect, it can be suggested that organizational cynicism has no mediating effect. Keywords: Wage Justice, Counterproductive Work Behaviors, Organizational Cynicism
