Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the technical properties of cement-based mixtures changes with the addition of fly ash and limestone. Therefore, Breslau/Poland fly ash, Medenbach limestone which are the additive material and portland cement CEM I 42,5 were mixed together to have the samples in concern. The samples which have water, fly ash and limestone in various percentages have been tested to find out the workability, strength and shrinkage values. The main result of this work showed that the experiments carried out with the same water ratio and different fly ash and limestone addition had no effect on freezing time, mechanical properties, shrinkage and viscosity values of the samples. However, various content of water with the same ratio of solid additives ( fly ash, limestone + cement ) have changed the technical properties in concern. As a result, the additives at various ratios had no adverse effect on the technical features of the portland CEM I 42.5 causing a decrease on the production cost. Keywords: Cement, fly ash, limestone, technical properties
