Abstract (EN)

The importance of vocational and technical education continues to increase day by day in our country. All of the studies carried out by all institutions in our country with the philosophy of "vocational high school is the country issue" enable the people of the country to differentiate their perspective on vocational education. Considering the countries in the developed country category according to OECD data, vocational education has a significant rate in the whole education system. When the studies on this subject in recent years in our country are examined, it is seen that there are many qualitative studies in vocational and technical high schools, from course content to application activities, from domestic internship to international internship. The vocational education system, which was established to meet the professional need of qualified intermediate staff in our country, not only achieves this goal, but also plays an important role in raising students who want to continue their higher education. The most important milestones of vocational and technical education are the processes where students meet the sector, gain experience and turn theoretical knowledge into practice. These processes take place within the time interval that students receive vocational training in enterprises. Students who receive skills training in enterprises realize experiential learning by transferring experience, using the knowledge and skills they have learned before in practice. The aim of this study is; To determine the factors affecting the perception and satisfaction levels of students receiving skill training in the field of transportation services regarding experiential learning and then to reveal the issues needed. The study consists of four parts. In the first part, while the learning theories are explained superficially, Kolb's experiential learning style is explained in detail. In the second part, vocational and technical infrastructure of Turkey especially on the basis of the field of transport services were examined. In the third part, a scale consisting of 5 parts and 61 items was prepared for students. Quantitative analysis method was used to examine the research findings. IBM SPSS 22 (Statistical Package For The Social Sciences) package program was used to evaluate the data obtained. In the final part, the study was completed by creating results and suggestions within the framework of the obtained information.
