Abstract (EN)
In this study mosses in the genus Sphagnum S.centrale and S.capillifolium obtained from extracts of a variety of Gram (-) and Gram (+) bacteria the antimicrobial effect was investigated. Bacteria important in food security and chosen from among extracts prepared in different solvents and in the clinic groups we investigated the effect of inhibition against bacteria. Although different studies performed with different bacterial groups and promising mosses are combined, then the estimate of this effect can not be used in the practice to attain that level, however, it is possible to further realization of the research. Preparatory work as a result, some Gram (-) and Gram (+) bacteria against species of Sphagnum centrale to S. capillifolium from the stand point of antimicrobial are effective. Key Words: Sphagnum centrale, Sphagnum capillifolium, antimicrobial activity, Turkey
