Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, BiSrCaCuO (BSCCO) films were prepared on MgO (100) and SrTiO3 substrates using ultrasonic spray pyrolysis (USP) method. Structural/microstructural, electrical and magnetic properties of the films obtained were investigated.XRD and SEM-EDX analysis showed that the Bi-2212 phase was formed in the films fabricated. Plate-like crystals with large cross-section and extended heat treatment duration were obtained. From R-T and M-T results, it was found that the films exhibited Tc values between 75 K and 80 K, depending on the heat treatment duration. Critical current density, Jc, was calculated by using Bean?s equation and the highest Jc value was obtained to be ~ 105 Acm-2 at 5K and 0T. The results obviously indicated that the USP method is a suitable method for fabrication of the superconducting films.
