Abstract (EN)

Quality of work life (QOL) is an improvised mechanism that seeks to design and improve work environments for employees at all levels. It is one of the most important problems of institutions. Professional belonging is related to many issues such as the attitudes and behaviors of the corporate managers on the employees, the organizational forms and communication levels of the employees of the institution, the rate of meeting the social and economic expectations of the work done, the qualities of the workplace. The concepts of Quality of Work life, Professional belonging and psychological resilience, which are intertwined in the functioning of the organization, are extremely important in the continuity of the organization. In overcoming this problem, it has been associated with many other factors such as organizational structure, management-employee relationship, employees' attitudes towards the profession, determining the job satisfaction of employees, and improving working conditions. Among these problems, in our study, how it affects the quality of work life, professional belonging and psychological levels of firefighters was seen as the problematic of the study. Quantitative research method was used as a method in this study. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 statistical data analysis program. In the analysis of the data obtained from the research; Independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Tukey and LSD tests were applied in order to determine the differences in frequency and percentage distributions, the participants' level of participation in the İYK, Occupational belonging and psychological resilience scales, in terms of demographic characteristics of the participants. Correlation and regression analyzes were applied to determine the relationships between the participants' IYK, Occupational Belonging and Resilience scales. The universe of the research covers the employees of the firefighting organization in Turkey. The Toplam number of personnel in the Elazig and Malatya Municipalities in 2023 is 600. The population of the research was determined as the sample of the study by using the following formula with a 95% confidence interval and 10% margin of error. Study data showed normal distribution 378. There is a positive, weak and statistically significant relationship between the level of work life scale of the employees and their perceptions of psychological resilience. Accordingly, when the work life levels of the employees increase, their psychological resilience levels also increase. There is a positive, moderately strong, statistically significant relationship between the level of work life scale of the employees and their perceptions of their professional belonging level. Accordingly, when the work life levels of the employees increase, the level of professional belonging also increases. There was no statistically significant relationship between the level of professional belonging scale of the employees and the perceptions of their psychological resilience levels. It is seen that the employees' perceptions of quality of work life explain approximately 3.6% of the Toplam variance of psychological resilience. It is observed that psychological resilience has a positive and significant effect on the quality of work life. It is seen that the perceptions of the employees' quality of work life explain approximately 44.3% of the Toplam variance of professional belonging. It is observed that professional belonging has a positive and significant effect on the quality of work life.
