Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to explain and to map the future of Nation-State in the next twenty - thirty years. I analyse the definations of Nation-State and its chronological process, within the context of Security Studies and International Relations Theories. Since The First World War, Nation-State has been main actor in foreign policy analysis. This situation has been reflected into International Relations Theory and Security Studies until the 1990. After this date, the nation states took a distintct and more complicated threat from different paradigms, such as globalizations, clash of identitity, terrorism, organized crimes and illegal immigration. These threats compelled to change Nation States and thus its Westphalian paradigm. This stiuation effected mostly the discipline of International Relations. Our approach is that, the concept of Security in İnternational Relations Theory also nourishes Nation-State and its future.
