Management of international logistics and its application in a company

In this study, Promodel 4.22 simulation program was used in order to carry out the analysis of the capacities of the procurement fleets of Horoz Logistics. The model of the current system was established according to the irformation acquired from Horoz Logistics. In the current model, the fleet speeds were acepted as the same whereas the capacity of the raw material producers were accepted as infinite since they were adequate. The silos, customers and fleets work 7 days a week, while the factories work for 6 days. The current system functions as such: first the raw materials (flour, sugar, oil, powder) are combined in certain ratios and 100 ?gr- biscuits are prodiced later, the fleets transport them in boxes of 24 packets to silos. Then the silos dispatch them to factories and customers, during which the closest factories, silosand customers are given priority, and the shipment continues until their daily capacity becomes full. The model of the current system was set up, later simulation was run, and finally the report showed low fleet capacities. Therefore, a new system model was founded, in which the number of lorries were decreased. The data of the latest current system and the new one were compared.
