Impact of international sports organizations on cities(23. hearing impaired olympics Samsun case)

The aim of this study is to determine the social, cultural and economic effects of international sport organizations. For this reason, it is aimed to determine the social, cultural and economic effects of the international sports organizations on the cities. Factor analysis of the expressions included in the scale, social, cultural and economic expressions are divided into seven sub-dimensions. Sample size of the study was determined as 520 with ± 0.05 sampling error and 520 questionnaire was applied to local people. In the analysis of the obtained data, percentage, frequency, t-test for independent samples and correlation analysis were used. Accordingto the results of the study, the economic benefits dimension of the Mediterranean Games and the occupation, income status and touristic facilities size of the local people participating in the study as well as the occupation and income status of the local people; the gender of the local population with the size of the international promotion; the age of the local people with the environmental and cultural conservation dimension; differences between social and environmental problems and the income levels of the local population were determined. Inaddition, there was a statistically significant relationship between the size of the tourist facilities and the size of the international publicity and the economic cost size and the size of the tourist facilities.
