Investigation of noise on university campuses and comparison with each other

One of the biggest problems in developing countries is unplanned urbanization. The uneven industrialization of cities poses problems of aggravating the characteristics of the population. These problems directly affect University flights. One of the most important of these records is environmental pollution. All employees and users in the campus ecosystem affect these materials. time and psychological problems are triggered in employees and learners . In the most known effects, it causes many discomforts such as concentration disorder, excessive nervousness, inefficient work. The Campuses we examined are a large Ecosystem with educational, administrative, social and residential areas, and have a wide living space. By examining the noise intensity of this region, the effects of noise pollution will be revealed and solution proposals will be developed thanks to the data generated by the effects of the noise exposure to the employees and students here. Thus, employees, students and families living in social housing will be protected from psychological and physiological harms, and this will prevent the quality of life of people from decreasing. The focus problem of students caused by noise is prevented from possible job losses of those who try to reduce it. The number of patient burden in the health sector will be reduced by an amount, and financial losses will be prevented at the same time.. Noise Maps of the 7 Universities we examined were drawn. Noise measurements were made around the highways, which are one of the sources of noise, and the buildings nearby, and measurements were taken from the areas far or close to the highway. xiv The possible consequences of how noise will affect student and employee performance will be examined and necessary solutions will be presented to completely eliminate or minimize noise sources. Regulations have been enacted and serious controls have been observed in order to minimize the damages caused by noise pollution in modern societies, causing irreversible damages to humans and indirectly to the country.
