Abstract (EN)

The Prediction Of Moral indifference And Social Interest In University Students In Terms Of Internet Addiction Nowadays, it is seen that the use of the Internet is quite common. It is thought that the use of the internet, which expresses people's use of the internet, will lead to addiction if it is not used consciously. It is thought that exposure to internet use has a great effect on the individual's view of social events. While any social event is evaluated morally, the view of the individual is also important. Studies suggest that moral indifference will be affected by internet use. Social interest, which is a different concept seen as important in terms of the socialization of the individual, is seen as a fundamental variable for the well-being of the individual. Social interest is generally seen as the adaptation of the individual. It was thought that it would be appropriate to create a sample for the study because university students are in the young adult group and the transportation is easy. In addition, there is no study in the literature that deals with moral indifference, social interest and problematic internet use. For these reasons, it is thought that predicting moral indifference and social interest in university students in terms of internet addiction will contribute to the field. In the research, Demographic Information Form, Moral Indifference Scale, Social Interest Scale and Internet Addiction Scale were applied to the participants, respectively. A significant relationship was found between the gender variable and only moral indifference. The regression analysis showed that there is a positive and positive relationship between moral indifference and internet addiction. No relationship was found between social interest and internet addiction. KeyWords: Moral indifference, Social interest, Internet addiction
