Examining the university student's relationships between empathic tendency with the narcissistic personality traits and critical thinking

Main purpose of the research is to designate meaningfully that if it becomes different or not between every three factors at a certain level, and to examining relationship according to university students and above individuals empathic tendencies with the narcissistic personality traits and critical thinking factor at mother educational level, father educational level, the class that goes, gender, empatic tendency, level of income and as to the number of siblings. Total 500 students be up to 217 female and 283 male forms The Research working Group who are the students of Van Centennial University's Education, Medical, and Theology faculties which are located in the city center. The Research working group is selected with the cluster sampling method. In the research "Empathic tendency scale", to designate critical thinking factor, California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CCTDI), to designate narcissistic personality traits, "Narcissistic personality inventory" are used to state empathic tendencies of the students, and in order to collect information, "Personal information forum"is used by researcher. In the analysis of data it is applied one way analysis of Variance in the comparative analyzes, from independent sample test T, and Kruskal Wallis H test. For the interdimensional relationships it is applied Pearson Correlation analysis. The results of research; the university students' scores among "Empathic tendency",and "Critical thinking tendency" are positive and weak, "Exploitation sub-dimension"scores are positive and weak, and among "Claim sub-dimension" there are negative and weak meaningful relationships. Among "Critical thinking tendency", and "Superiority sub-dimension" positive and weak, among "Authority sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Exploitation sub-dimension" positive and weak, and among "Claim sub-dimension" scores there are negative and meaningful relationships. Among "Superiority sub-dimension", and "Exhibitionism sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Authority sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Exploitation sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, and among "Self sufficiency sub-dimension" scores there are positive and weak meaningful relationships. It has seen positive and weak aspects among "Exhibitionism sub-dimension", and "Authority sub-dimension" scores. Among "Exploitation sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Claim sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, and among "Self sufficiency sub-dimension" scores there are positive and weak meaningful relationships. Among "Authority sub-dimension" and "Exploitation sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Claim sub-dimension" scores positive and weak, among "Self sufficiency sub-dimension" scores there are positive and weak meaningful relationships. There are positive and weak meaningful relationships among "Claim sub-dimension", and "Self sufficiency sub-dimension" scores. Separately research results; according to the gender under "Narcissistic personality sub-dimension" and "Narcissistic personality sub-dimension" shows a meaningful differentiation with "Self sufficiency sub-dimension". According to the number of sibling "Exploitation sub-dimension", and "Narcissistic personality sub-dimension" shows a meaningful differentiation with "Authority sub-dimension". According to mother educational level "Empathic tendency sub-dimension", and "Narcissistic personality sub-dimension" shows a meaningful differentiation with "Superiority sub-dimension". According to class change "Empathic tendency sub-dimension", and "Critical thinking tendency" shows a meaningful differentiation. According to empathic tendency "Empathic tendency", and "Narcissistic personality sub-dimension" shows a meaningful differentiation with "Exploitation sub-dimension", and "Claim sub-dimension".
