Abstract (EN)

This research aimed to determine the physical activity levels and nutritional habits of university students. The research was conducted with 259 volunteer students studying at Akdeniz University Serik Gülsün – Süleyman Süral vocational school in the 2021-2022 academic year. Participating students; Socio-demographic Information Form, short form of the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (UFAA-KF) and Dutch Eating Habits Questionnaire (DEBQ) were applied. This data was analyzed using a package program in SPSS 22.0 version. In pairwise comparisons, t-test was used for independent groups, and one-way analysis of variance was used for comparisons of more than two groups. Least Significant Difference (LSD) test was applied to reveal the difference. Pearson product-moment correlation analysis (r) was used to determine the relationship between the scores obtained from the scales. The physical activity levels of the participants differed according to gender, monthly income, vitamin and mineral intake variable, eating behaviors differed according to gender, place of residence, monthly income, and smoking variable, and the physical activity level had a negative direction with the restrictive sub-dimension, and a positive low level with the external sub-dimension. has been found to be related. It is thought that this situation arises from the physical and psychological conditions of the students during their education.
